Directors

wisdom+work directors are Carol Clark and Rob Ryan. We bring a depth of skills and experience to working with change processes in business, government, regional and community sector organisations. We are informed by a range of powerful organisational approaches, particularly systems psychodynamics and socio-analytic perspectives.

In all our consulting, coaching and facilitation we collaborate with leaders, employees and stakeholder groups to create the new thinking necessary for strategic and on-the-ground change.

Carol has led communications, strategic and leadership programs in a wide range of industries – accounting, legal, banking and finance, mining, sugar, food, medical research, IT, management consulting, education, telecommunications, health, community and welfare.

In her work with clients Carol draws on her background in educational leadership, business development, and consultation to business organisations and leaders in organisational communications, strategic development and change.

Carol teaches Change Management and Communications in the RMIT University Master of Communications program.

Rob Ryan   B.Sci Ed, B.Ed, Grad Dip Bus (Organisation, Change & Development)

  • CEO - Melbourne University Student Union, (130+ staff, $13 million turnover)
  • Director - Ryan & Associates

Rob has wide experience as a consultant and facilitator in strategic planning, team and leadership development and stakeholder engagement. He has worked with leaders and groups in government departments, service organisations and a range of educational institutions.

He brings a deep understanding of leadership and employee perspectives based on his experience in senior management, professional associations and educational leadership. He is accredited in the application of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Belbin Team Roles, and has been a senior elected office-bearer in a variety of organisations.
